NI First Aid Services - NI first aid services is an Approved Training Centre with EDI and the HSENI. One of Northern Ireland, UK established providers of First Aid, Health and Safety, Train the Trainer, Door Supervisor, Man Guarding, Conflict Management,Fire Marshal, Defibrillator and Manual Handling Trainer Courses in Belfast, Antrim, Newry, London, Glasgow and the Midlands. We also offer a complete range of First Aid and Medical Supplies

A Health & Safety Executive Approved (2 day) course that complies with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (NI) 1982 and the Approved Code of Practice L74 guidelines for the re-qualifications of workplace First Aiders.

The course is available to you at our training centre on a monthly programme or we can deliver it on your premises.

The course offers a refresher of all subjects taught on the 4 Day Statutory First Aid at Work course and also introduces any new techniques, legislation or guidelines that have arisen since the delegate originally trained:

• Aims and principles of first aid
• Prevention of cross-infection during first aid procedures
• Basic Life Support
• Management of the unconscious casualty
• Assessment and treatment of a casualty who is wounded, bleeding or shocked
• How to deal with burns, poisoning and eye injuries
• Assessment and treatment of common major and minor illnesses
• Emergency transport of casualties
• Legal aspect of first aid at work - record keeping and use of equipment
